Our 35-week check-up with Dr. Gorman went well. He said that the baby's heartbeat was strong and my measurements were right on target. We have a choice of whether to remove the cerclage next week, week 36, or week 37. Dr. Gorman advised us that a 36-week baby is still considered premature, however, a 37-week baby is not. That helped make our decision. We anticipate taking out the cerclage on Halloween!!
