Joseph

Joseph smiled for the first time this week when Curt brushed a stuffed animal over his face. A few days later he smiled at Curt again as he cooed to him. Afterwards he smiled at me too as I tickled his cheek. I had forgotten how early babies smile in response to their parents. It warms our hearts to see his reaction. In this first picture, he is sitting outside while Julia played in the yard. He is wearing his first pair of shoes, sandals.
