Children's Museum
We had a blast at the Children's Museum of Memphis. Julia learned through computers and interactive play. She was able to "shop" at a miniature Kroger store. She used a shopping cart that was just her size and chose life-like items to put into it. She found milk, cheese, canned vegetables and Tide then took them to the checkout, ran them through the scanner and paid for them. She also danced in a disco room, complete with a disco ball, black lights and 1970's music. One of her favorite exhibits was a "trip" to the dentist where she learned about cavities and yucky teeth. She also enjoyed sliding down a big, black slide and playing in the playhouse. ...All the while, Joseph sat contently in his stroller. We'll have to take him back when he is bigger to join in the fun.
