Julia had her 15-month check up with Dr. Keever yesterday afternoon. She now weighs 20 lbs. 10 ounces and is 30 1/2 inches long. She is in the 25th %ile for weight and the 50th %ile for length. For the first time she was a little apprehensive about Dr. Keever checking her. Her language skills have really improved since her 1 year appointment. She is now saying about 25 words, which is really good for her age. Also, she has already mastered a few
18-month motor skills such as running and climbing. The grand finale of the appointment was one last shot. She did really well and only cried a few minutes. She doesn't have to get another one until she starts school.
