We had a great 4th of July weekend. We visited family and friends and went to the annual Independence Day picnic in Corning, AR. Julia ate homemade ice cream, watched fireworks, "fished" and rode an airplane ride. She was excited about the ride in the beginning and was even rocking waiting for the take-off, but halfway through the ride when some other kids began screaming, she started crying.
