Morning Wake-Up

Now that we are back into the school routine, Julia wakes up at 6:30 every morning. Curt announced last night that we were going to sleep-in this weekend. We even kept Julia up 45 minutes past her bedtime, hoping to get just a little more sleep. Curt had a sippy cup full of milk ready in the refrigerator so when she pitter-pattered into our room at 6:30, he could quietly lay her in bed with us, hand her the milk and she would go back to sleep. Miraculously enough, his plan worked. We were able to get 1 more hour of sleep. Then at 7:30, Julia said, "Mommy, I sleep good" and we knew that our sleeping-in time was over.
