Doctor Appt.

Joseph went for his 2-month checkup with the pediatrician. He is a big boy and now weighs 11 pounds. He is in the 75th %ile in weight, height and head circumference. The Dr. and nurse both commented on how strong he appears. He was sitting on my lap leaning against my chest when the Dr. walked in and she was amazed at how well he was holding up his head. She said this position is typical of a 4-month old, but usually sees parents cradling 2-month olds. She said that he is healthy and overall we had a good appointment until the end when he had to get 3 shots and drink a yucky-tasting immunization for the roto virus. This is a newer immunization and not one that Julia had. He was a trooper and just cried for a few minutes.
