Busy, Busy

We've been pretty busy around here getting settled adjusted to our new schedules. Julia started preschool and Joseph started with a new babysitter a couple weeks ago. Curt and I both took Julia her first day and she cried when we left her. It was really hard to leave, but we knew she would be fine within minutes of us leaving. She was a little apprehensive on her 2nd day, but since then has enjoyed going. In addition to regular learning activities, she has Spanish, Art, Music, and Drama. She has learned so many new things in such a short time. She can now say the entire Pledge of Allegiance, months of the year, and sing some new songs. She has been practicing writing her name and the letter of the week. I would love to share pictures of her first day, but a little boy, who shall remain nameless, deleted the pictures from the camera. We had no idea that he could do this, but he continues to find new things to do. Other favorite activities in our new house include starting the dishwasher, microwave, and washer. He also tries to conserve energy by turning off the oven when he thinks it's been on too long.

Joseph did fine on his first day, but whimpered a couple days after that. Now, he reaches his arms for Joyce the minute he sees her. He and Tate are the only two boys that go to Mrs. Joyce's every day. Tate is 2 1/2. She also keeps Macie, whose only 3 months old, a few days a week. He and Tate play really well together and she reports that he is a good eater and sleeper while there so we are happy!
