Julia is always wanting to celebrate a real (or pretend) birthday. She likes looking at birthday cakes online and fantasizing about parties. One of the things we talked about this summer is making a mermaid cake so even though it was a long process, we made a mermaid cake. We had fun decorating and eating it.
