Joseph went to his 18 month doctor appointment last week. He weighed 23 lbs. and was 32 inches tall. He is growing at a steady rate, but still a little squirt! He is always on-the-go and such a busybody.
He has started showing an interest in potty training. We think this is because the little boy at his daycare, whose a year older, has been potty training. He has been telling us, "I want potty" so much that we finally got the little potty out. He has used it twice so far after numerous attempts. I'm sure this is just a phase that he's going through and not truly potty training, but it is a start.
He is doing well at his babysitter and we were disheartened last week to find out that Mrs. Joyce is having to quit keeping kids because of health problems. Joseph loves her and we were so happy to have her, but now we are on the search for someone new.
Joseph loves doing whatever his sister is doing and they are starting to play together a lot more, sometimes they play well together and sometimes all they do is fight.
Joseph has started having sleep problems. He has always been such a great sleeper, but lately it has been difficult to put him to bed and he often wakes up in the middle of the night crying inconsolably, which usually ends with him sleeping the rest of the night in our bed. Hopefully, this is just a phase!
