Spring Break!

I'm a little behind on posting. . . the main reason is that our camera is broken:( It will hopefully be repaired or replaced soon. Luckily, my friend Michelle sent me some pictures from her camera so I have a few memories from our Spring Break week.

We had a wonderful Spring Break, especially with the high temperatures early in the week. The kids were in shorts and we were enjoying time at the park and shopping in Memphis. Toward the end of the week, it became cooler, actually cold. Luckily, we had plans indoors and visited a Children's Museum in the bootheel of Missouri with Michelle and the boys. We were impressed by all the fun activities in this museum. The kids were able to "freeze" their shadows on a wall, make music on sewer pipes, go inside a replica space shuttle, work in a play restaurant, buy groceries in a mini grocery store, visit a "farm", become medical professionals, etc. Joseph's favorite part was "driving" the fire truck and the tractor. Julia's was pretending in the restaurant and hospital. It was a fun-filled day and also included some of our favorite food, Strawberry's ribs and pork steak. Yummy!
